Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer / Site Engineer to oversee electrical and ELV site activities in Macpherson, Singapore. You will coordinate subcontractors and ensure installation, testing and commissioning meet project specifications.

Role requires reading electrical drawings, knowledge of ELV systems and a hands-on, proactive approach. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and opportunities will be considered accordingly.

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical project/site management, preferably in industrial or commercial projects.
• Knowledge of electrical and ELV systems, installation and commissioning processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Fresh graduates welcome and will be considered for suitable opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and ELV schematic drawings, specifications and documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure smooth electrical site works.
• Review contract specifications and prepare VO submissions as required.
• Perform electrical design, load calculations and fault calculations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure works comply with shop drawings, method statements and standards.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve project matters.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate with parties to meet milestones.
• Assist in monitoring progress and resolving site issues with management.
• Ensure coordination between electrical works and other M&E trades.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Maintain project documentation and provide site progress updates.

Job Summary

We are seeking anElectrical Project Engineer / Site Engineerto oversee electrical and ELV site activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure installation, testing and commissioning works are completed safely, efficiently and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpretelectrical and ELV schematic drawings, specifications and technical documents.

• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical site works.

• Review contract specifications and prepareVariation Order (VO)submissions where required.

• Perform engineering design, electrical load calculations and fault calculations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.

• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant standards.

• Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve project matters.

• Monitor site progress and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Assist the Project/Site/Construction Manager in monitoring project progress and resolving site issues.

• Ensure proper coordination between electrical works and other M&E trades.

• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities upon project completion.

• Maintain proper project documentation and provide updates on site progress.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or Degree inElectrical Engineeringor equivalent.

• Relevant experience in electrical project/site management, preferably withinindustrial or commercial projects.

• Knowledge of electrical and ELV systems, installation and commissioning processes.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

• Good problem-solving, coordination and project management abilities.

• Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
