Job summary

Heng Yuan Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Electrical/ELV Coordinator to lead cabling installation across ELV, IT networks, and associated trades on active projects.

You will monitor progress, prepare shop drawings and method statements, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and safety.

Qualifications

• Monitor site progress, manpower, material delivery and workmanship.
• Prepare and follow up on shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and RFIs.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, system vendors and site teams.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and safety requirements.

Coordinate Electrical, ELV and IT cabling installation works

Monitor site progress, manpower, material delivery and workmanship

Prepare and follow up on shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and RFIs

Coordinate containment, cabling routes, termination points, network racks and equipment rooms

Attend site inspections and coordination meetings

Coordinate with subcontractors, system vendors and other M&E trades

Assist with testing and commissioning, progress claims and variation works

Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of relevant project experience
• Experience in Singapore construction or M&E projects is preferred
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, ELV systems and IT structured cabling
• Familiar with fibre-optic cabling, UTP cabling, network racks, MDF/IDF rooms, CCTV, access control and other ELV systems
• Familiar with cable testing and certification, including Fluke and OTDR testing
• Able to prepare and coordinate shop drawings, material submissions and method statements
• Able to coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, system vendors and site teams
• Familiar with inspections, testing and commissioning, RFIs and as-built documentation
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently
