Job summary

VERITAS CONTROL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Service/Field Engineer to install, configure, and commission our products at customer sites in Singapore.

You will provide on-site and remote technical support, investigate issues, and deliver root-cause analyses and service reports. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 1–3 years of sales-related experience in M&E, control & automation. You will work closely with the sales team to tailor technical solutions and maintain strong customer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation and online technical support.
• Perform on-site service and support for customers, investigating defects and proposing repair solutions.
• Set up, configure, and commission products for customers.
• Handle technical inquiries and RFQ requests for technical services.
• Produce reports related to on-site problems, including root-cause analyses and commissioning reports.
• Support the sales team by offering technical solutions to meet customer needs.
• Carry out additional duties as reasonably required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical installation for on-site installation and online calls.
• Provide on-site service and support to customers; not limited to local customers. For instance, problem verification, solution, and checking defective items to investigate and repair.
• Set up, configure, and commission our products for customers.
• Handles technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.
• Produce relevant reports for all work relating to on-site problems such as root cause analysis, service report, commissioning report, etc.
• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.
• Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to meet customers' needs.
• In addition to these duties/responsibilities, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.

• Diploma in Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in M&E, control & automation industry.
• Mature, self-disciplined and results-driven.
• Clear presentation ability with excellent communication skills.
