Job summary

CRAFTSMAN ENGINEERING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a site-focused electrical/automation engineer to support on-site inspection, develop detailed shop drawings, and coordinate submissions for approval.

You will guide site workers using approved drawings and build schedules using MS Project or P6, maintaining rolling 3-week plans. Responsibilities cover tender support, QA/QC coordination, material tracking, and close-out punch lists across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control or related field (full-time study) preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical or control systems, with exposure to full project cycles (design, construction, commissioning, settlement).
• Experience with electrical drawing development, construction management, system commissioning and project settlement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspection of electrical system installation work.
• Develop detailed electrical shop drawings and coordinate drawing submissions for approval; guide site workers in construction execution.
• Establish professional construction schedules using MS Project or P6; prepare Excel-based bar charts and maintain 3-week rolling schedule tracking.
• Manage materials sourcing, price inquiries and negotiations, inspect quantities, specifications and deliveries.
• Participate in site and company meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Support tendering activities with quantity take-offs, procurement inquiries and cost compilation.
• Coordinate with QAQC teams to support inspection and acceptance procedures at all project stages.
• Oversee project close-out activities and proactively track punch-list items.

Job description

• Manage system point counts, materialsourcing, price inquiries and negotiations, and material submittals; inspectand verify quantities, specifications, and receiving of materials upon delivery
• Participate in various site and companymeetings as required, and prepare meeting minutes
• Support tendering activities as per companyrequirements, including but not limited to: quantity take-offs, procurementinquiries, cost compilation, interview support, site surveys, etc.
• Coordinate with QAQC teams to supportinspection and acceptance procedures at all project stages
• Oversee project close-out activities,proactively track and complete all punch-list items, including outstandingissues from other disciplines

2. Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, ElectricalEngineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field (full-timestudy) Preferred

Experience

Technical Skills

• Familiar with electrical drawingdevelopment, construction management, system commissioning, and projectsettlement
