Job summary

NCS is a leading technology services firm delivering consulting and digital solutions across APAC. The Cyber Maintenance Infra Engineer provides level 1.5 centralized support for network, cyber, and server systems across NCS clients.

The role requires participation in 24x7 standby rotations, ensuring SLA adherence, and timely ticket updates. Basic Cisco/Alcatel network knowledge and relevant security certifications are advantageous for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber or Networking maintenance is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency is expected.
• CCNA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet or other security product certs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1.5 centralized technical support (Network, Cyber and Server).
• Participate in 24x7 standby duty on rotation, as assigned by team lead.
• Ensure SLA levels are met for each fault case and escalate where needed.
• Attend to daily call assignments and after-hours duties when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance including hardware inventory checks and updates.
• Update incident tickets promptly from opening to closure.

As a Cyber Maintenance Infra Engineer, you will provide level 1.5 centralize technical support (Network, Cyber and Server) for all NCS clients.

What will you do?

• Participate in maintenance standby duty to cover 24x7 support on rotational basis pre-assigned by the team lead (L2)- a must
• Ensure SLA Level is achieved every single fault case.
• Ensure escalation is carried out when a fault call is beyond the knowledge of L1.
• Attend to daily call assignment when not in standby during office hours.
• Perform weekend or after office hours duty though not on standby if required.
• Attend to preventive maintenance not limited to hardware inventory.
• Follow up case from opening till closure.
• Update incident tickets properly and promptly.
• Get certifications required to support key customers.
• Work on new assignment by Ops manager
• Basic Cisco and Alcatel switches/routers/wireless knowledge
• Basic network troubleshooting skills on layer 2 and layer 3
• Basic Network Security Knowledge
• Basic Server Administration Knowledge

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Good to haveCyber or Networking maintenance related experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suites
• Certification in CCNA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet or other security products are advantages
• Comfortable with 24/7 support on rotation basis
• Good communication skills and is able to work independently
