Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking an Infra Engineer / Senior Engineer, Network to design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data-center networks. You will translate architecture into detailed designs, validate performance, and drive security compliance across projects.

You'll configure and monitor network devices, perform security baseline configurations, and participate in issue resolution and end-to-end validation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT or networking experience.
• Certifications in CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Basic to Advanced Routing and Switching.
• Basic to Advanced Wired and Wireless networks.
• Network Security (ACL, Firewall, VPN, ISE).
• Network Performance Monitoring.
• Specialization breakouts 1-2 domains.
• Nexus Switches (7K, 9K) & NX-OS.
• Application Delivery Controllers, NGFW, NGIPS, etc.
• Wired and Wireless network architectures (2-Tier/3-Tier).
• Software Defined Access Network concepts (VxLAN etc.).

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level network architecture into detailed designs, including diagrams and failover plans.
• Prepare requirement documents and design validations for network solutions.
• Maintain documentation such as test plans and design artefacts.
• Configure and implement network infrastructure per design and security requirements.
• Perform baseline security configurations of devices to meet compliance.
• Use network management tools to monitor, analyse, and report on performance.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and validate proper operation.
• Resolve routine to complex network issues using diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, reliability, and integration.
• Conduct functional and integration tests and report results and risks.
• Link requirements to test cases with traceability for end-to-end validation.
• Work independently and in teams.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivatedInfra Engineer / Senior Engineer, Networkto design, implement, and optimise enterprise/campus and data centre network infrastructure. In this role, you will work on end-to-end network solutions—from translating high-level architecture into detailed designs, to validating performance, ensuring security compliance, and driving operational excellence.

What will you do?

• Translate high-level network architecture into detailed technical designs, including physical and logical diagrams, traffic flows, and failover plans.
• Prepare clear and concise requirement documents and component-level design validations for simple to complex network solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as test plans, traceability matrices, and design artefacts, ensuring alignment across the project lifecycle.
• Configure and implement network infrastructure in accordance with the design and security requirements.
• Perform baseline security configuration of devices to meet compliance and best practices.
• Use network management tools to monitor, analyse, and report on network performance and status.
• Participate in root-cause investigations, validating proper operation of network installations.
• Resolve routine to complex network issues by applying diagnostic tools and employing structured troubleshooting methods.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate network performance, reliability, and integration.
• Conduct functional and integration tests, document results, and clearly report issues or risks.
• Link requirements to test cases with proper traceability to ensure end-to-end validation of solutions investigations, validating proper operation of network installations.
• Able to work independently and also to work in a team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess

• Experience: 2 or more years of IT or networking experience.
• Technical / Professional Skills: Certification – CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIE
• Basic to Advanced Routing and Switching
• Basic to Advanced Wired and Wireless networks
• Network Security (ACL, Firewall, VPN, ISE)
• Network Performance Monitoring
• Specialization breakouts 1-2 domains
