Job summary

MindChamps Allied Care @ Serangoon Gardens seeks an Early Intervention Teacher to design and implement evidence-based intervention programmes for young children, focusing on developmental, academic, behavioural, and social-emotional needs. You will document progress, work with parents, and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

You will collaborate with allied health professionals, prepare IEPs, track progress, and communicate weekly with families to support holistic child development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology; other relevant courses may be considered
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children aged 18 months–6 years with learning disorders and/or disabilities
• Experience in Early Intervention setting or with children with special needs an advantage
• Strong command of English and good organisational skills
• Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
• Knowledge of AEPS would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement evidence-based intervention programmes tailored to individual developmental needs
• Develop and deliver structured lessons aligned with curriculum goals and intervention objectives
• Create and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) with curriculum mapping
• Document and monitor students’ academic and developmental progress using data collection methods
• Maintain accurate case notes following each session and report observations as required
• Maintain effective classroom management and supervise children at all times
• Provide weekly updates to parents or caregivers regarding participation and progress after each session
• Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals to support holistic intervention planning
• Maintain accurate student records and attend scheduled meetings
• Participate in professional development sessions and workshops organized by the organisation
• Provide support across centres as required by operational needs
