Job summary

Mindchamps Early Intervention and Therapy Tampines is seeking an dedicated Early Intervention Teacher to support young learners in a warm, inclusive environment.

You will manage admissions, plan evidence-based programmes, document progress, and create individualized IEPS with curriculum mapping, while ensuring student safety and engaging families and staff in the learning process.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education with keen interest to work with special needs children.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children (ages 18 months - 6 years old) with learning disorders and/or disabilities.
• Experience in Early Intervention setting or with children with special needs would be an advantage.
• Have a strong command of English and have good organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and yet be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Planning, documentation and reporting of academic data/progress.
• Creating individualized lesson plan and IEPS with curriculum mapping and individually-designed instruction.
• Have behaviour and classroom management skills and is responsible for the safety and well-being of all students.
• Behaviour Documentation and Reporting.
• Update parents regarding sessions and progress after each session.
• Updating case notes post-sessions.
• Communicate frequently with parents and school staff.
• Conduct team meetings with other Allied Health Care Professionals.
• Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioural intervention.
