Job summary

Mindchamps Early Intervention and Therapy @ Toa Payoh is seeking an Early Intervention Teacher to support young children in their crucial early years. You will plan and implement evidence-based programmes, document progress, and create individualized plans aligned with curriculum mapping to meet each child’s needs.

The role requires strong English skills, organisational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and within a collaborative team of educators and therapists.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children (ages 18 months - 6 years).
• Experience in Early Intervention Setting or with children with special needs is a plus.
• Strong command of English and good organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement evidence-based programmes or interventions.
• Planning, documentation and reporting of academic data/progress.
• Creating individualized lesson plan and IEPS with curriculum mapping and individually-designed instruction.
• Have behaviour and classroom management skills and is responsible for the safety and well-being of all students.
• Behaviour Documentation and Reporting.
• Update parents regarding sessions and progress after each session.
• Updating case notes post-sessions.
• Communicate frequently with parents and school staff.
• Conduct team meetings with other Allied Health Care Professionals.
• Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioural intervention.
