Job summary

WTS DEVELOPMENT PTE LTD seeks an experienced Dormitory Manager to lead the setup and ongoing operation of a new worker dormitory in Singapore. You will drive readiness during pre-opening, manage daily housing operations, and ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming living environment for residents.

Role requires coordinating with Facilities Management, project teams and external stakeholders, plus overseeing staffing, budgeting, vendor management and resident welfare.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Operations Management, Facilities Management, Security Management, Building Services, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dormitory operations, worker accommodation, facilities management or a similar 24/7 operational environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Good knowledge of FEDA, EFMA, MOM requirements, Singapore dormitory licensing and applicable accommodation, safety and regulatory standards.
• Experience in setting up or managing a newly developed worker dormitory, including building handover and operational readiness, would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-opening and operational readiness with Facilities Management, Project Team, architects and consultants.
• Plan staffing, furniture, equipment, supplies, systems, inspections and defect rectification for opening.
• Develop and implement SOPs, house rules, emergency plans and procedures.
• Manage daily dormitory operations: resident registration, room allocation, check-in/out, occupancy management.
• Coordinate accommodation for internal employees and external corporate clients.
• Monitor bed availability, occupancy, tenancy agreements, charges and billing with Finance.
• Maintain dormitory management systems and accurate resident records per data protection.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and licensing.
