POET SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a meticulous Document Controller to join our project team.
You will manage and maintain project documentation, including registers, submissions trackers and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness across engineering workstreams. You will coordinate technical submissions such as drawings, as-built drawings, test reports and Installation/O&M manuals, enforce revision control, and liaise with project managers, QA/QC, site
Manage and maintain project documentation, document registers, drawing registers, submission trackers and correspondence records.
Coordinate and prepare technical document submissions including drawings, as-built drawings, test reports and Installation/O&M manuals.
Check document numbers, revisions, status and completeness before submission.
Submit and track documents.
Monitor submission and approval status and follow up closely on outstanding comments, approvals and resubmissions.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, QA/QC, site teams, suppliers, consultants and clients.
Ensure the site team is always using the latest approved drawings and documents.
Maintain proper revision control and withdraw obsolete or superseded documents.
Support project handover and close-out documentation.
Prepare document status reports and highlight overdue or critical submissions that may affect project progress.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
2-5 years of relevant experience in Project Document Control, preferably in Engineering.
Experience handling technical document submissions, drawing registers, transmittals and revision control.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PDF document management.
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
Able to independently track and follow up on outstanding submissions and approvals.
Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders.
Able to work in a project environment.
