Job Responsibilities
This incumbent acts as a bridge between senior management and other parts of the Bank, ensuring alignment of organisational objectives and execution of strategic initiatives.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute work plans in alignment to regional and global direction and priorities
- Support Singapore Administration Department (SGAD) to drive improvement in the process and operational efficiency
- Lead data driven analysis, identify issues and resolve complex issues with recommendations
- Gather, synthesize and analyze data to provide insights to the respective stakeholders
Corporate Planning
- Oversee and carry out the process of budgeting and expense
- Performance Monitoring
- Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the progress towards organisational goals
Project Management
- Oversee key projects from conception to completion by collaborating with stakeholders within and outside the Bank and ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
- Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels.
- Lead and work cohesively with the team - adaptable to work with various departments and people and influence stakeholders
- Promote Mizuho and team culture
Executive Support
- Plan and curate agenda for Bank Townhalls and other management meetings, in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Develop Executive-level materials for key meetings
Job Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field with a minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in the Financial Services industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a strategic mindset
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and face-paced environment to manage a diverse range of assignments with a solution-driven mindset
