Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Director, Quality Engineering within Global Operations (GOps) to partner with account teams and ensure customer voice is reflected in quality initiatives across Lam. You will drive customer trust and align with regional leadership to deliver results.

In this role, you will own the resolution of critical quality issues, lead cross-functional collaborations, prepare executives for reviews, and communicate trends to key customers while modeling Lam's core values and QA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial.
• 15 years of experience or equivalent in a similar quality role.
• Experience with semiconductor customers and quality methods.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative partnerships with customer account teams.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer on product quality.
• Lead resolution of key quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Represent GOops Quality in Regional Quarterly Operations Review.
• Ensure GOps executives are prepared for customer reviews.
• Educate GOps Quality messaging to accounts and customers.
• Direct customer engagements when necessary.
• Identify quality problems, align priorities, establish root cause, implement solutions.
• Communicate quality issues and trends to Lam's key customers.
• Role model Lam values and use of Lam Management System.
