Lam Research is seeking a Supplier Engineer to ensure supplier capability aligns with design intent, quality requirements, and delivery needs. You will own technical execution at the supplier, including qualification, process readiness, and issue resolution across NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

You will serve as the primary technical interface between Lam and suppliers, driving process discipline, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across programs.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Manufacturing processes, SPC, PFMEA, control plans, FAIR and RCA methodologies.
• Experience working with external suppliers in a technical capacity.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).

Mansioni

• Lead supplier qualification activities for new and existing suppliers per Lam procedures.
• Assess supplier capabilities, process maturity, and quality systems before production release.
• Define and lock the Supplier Process of Record (POR) with suppliers and Lam engineering.
• Ensure process changes are controlled through Lam change control.
• Drive PFMEA, control plans, and key feature monitoring at suppliers.
• Lead resolution of supplier quality issues (NCIs, escapes, MRB dispositions).
• Coordinate RCCA/8D and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Partner with Product Group/Manufacturing Engineering on design and factory readiness.
• Support sourcing decisions with technical assessments and supplier input.
