Purpose of role

Enhance Regional Finance Strategy through;

  • Plan & execute & lead new initiatives and MTBP from Finance strategy perspectives and CFO perspective for execute Asia strategy,
  • Drive initiatives in accounting & tax area as well,
  • Enhancement of Finance x Dx,
  • Navigating various parties to give shapes to their initiatives and promote/implement their and goals,
  • Monitoring functionalities of existing frameworks and improving them as necessary,
  • Manage FDM team as a leader/management
Job Responsibilities

Strategic

Plan & execute & lead new initiatives and MTBP from Finance strategy perspectives and CFO perspective for execute Asia strategy, going beyond COOI’s roles and responsibilities.

Drive initiatives in accounting & tax area as well.

Financial -

Monitor Branch/functions financials and support improvement

Financial KPI of MTBP Asia strategy

Customer - Solve Branch specific issues

To raise and solve management issues from regional financial strategy point of view, to collaborate and cowork with various parties inc HQ, BU, CC and branch

People - Train /strengthen staffs in Branches and Regional HQ

To contribute for further improvement of engagement and talent development for entire POA and staff who assign finance in branch. Team manage & engagement & talent development

Other/ Control

Ensure the Bank’s operation/activities in the face/midst of BCP

Adherence to compliance

To liaise and collaborate with stakeholders in Tokyo Head Office and prepare detailed investment application & reports to be presented in Japanese during Meetings and Conferences

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Banking Industry
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance Strategy and/or Strategic Planning
  • Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent language capabilities/ proficiency) is required to effectively communicate with Japanese Corporate clients, in order to succeed in this role.
  • Independent with good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of managerial /financial accounting
