Job summary

Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced senior accounting professional to oversee the full spectrum of group accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. The role demands leadership of a sizable team and deep consolidation expertise.

You will manage the preparation and analysis of group reports, coordinate with external auditors, and drive policy and process improvements across finance functions, including real estate

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
• At least 15 years of relevant accounting experiences and/or audit experiences with at least 8 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experienced in managing/handling a large group and complex consolidation.
• Well-versed in GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in SAP and Tagetik would be highly advantageous.
• Experience in real estate industry and SGX reporting is a clear advantage.
• Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and experienced in managing people and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, responsible, meticulous, good team leader and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of group accounting and management reporting functions, in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the financial and management reporting requirements of the Group’s fee business as well as finance business partnering.
• Prepare and analyze the group financial and management reports, quarterly reports to the shareholder, Audit and Risk Committee and Board of Directors, liaising with external auditors for year-end closing.
• Drive implementation of group accounting policies and finance processes and systems.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects relating to system roll-out, process improvement and new accounting standards.
• Support any ad-hoc assignments as required.
