Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, handling a full set of accounts.
• Experience with GST and statutory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts for Singapore Co and overseas subsidiaries, incl. GL, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, intercompany transactions.
• Oversee daily finance operations, cash/bank, petty cash, payments and receipts.
• Perform month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and resolve outstanding items.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports showing movements and performance.
• Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with Singapore GST.
• Coordinate annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Support tax filing and other regulatory compliance.
• Maintain internal controls and enhance accounting processes.
• Serve as finance point of contact for banks, tax agents, authorities and suppliers.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on finance professional to manage the full set of accounts and lead financial reporting, statutory compliance, and day-to-day finance operations. Working closely with management and other business functions, you will ensure the business has timely and accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore Co and its overseas subsidiaries, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Oversee daily finance operations, including cash and bank transactions, petty cash, payments, and receipts.

• Perform month-end closing and prepare monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving outstanding items.

• Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules) and management reports and presentations analyzing significant movements and business performance.

• Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with Singapore GST requirements.

• Manage the annual statutory audit, including preparing audit schedules and coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely completion.

• Support tax, statutory filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements.

• Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and finance procedures.

• Serve as the finance point of contact for banks, tax agents, government authorities, suppliers, customers, and other external parties.

About you

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a professional accounting qualification is an advantage.

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, including handling a full set of accounts independently.

• Proficiency in computerized accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar preferred) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties.
