Job summary

RATTAN PACIFIC PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage the full accounting functions and prepare timely financial reporting to support strategic decisions and compliance with statutory requirements.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closes, GST and corporate tax submissions, while coordinating with auditors, tax agents, banks and management to ensure accurate records and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage full set of accounts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports for Managing Director's review to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial closure.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense control to maintain financial health.
• Ensure timely submission of GST returns, corporate tax filings, and compliance with statutory requirements to meet regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other relevant parties to coordinate financial audits and compliance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation, internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
