Job summary

Asia Properties & Assets Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous Group Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. You will oversee group reporting and consolidation in line with SGX, SFRS(I), and ACRA, partnering with senior management.

You will support due diligence, financial analysis for corporate exercises including M&A and real estate development projects, and treasury management with cash flow projections.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications.
• 5–8 years of experience in listed entities reporting and audit, with IPO/listing exposure.
• Strong track record in financial analysis; experience in real estate is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting standards, taxes, GST, SGX rules, and Companies Act.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Knowledge of IPO/listing requirements and real estate development or investment holding structures.
• Excellent working and communication skills; able to interact with business associates and professionals.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform group consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards.
• Conduct detailed FS trend/variance analysis and support performance tracking and decision making.
• Perform financial analysis and modelling to support deal evaluation and M&A activity.
• Maintain audit/tax schedules, journals, FS and group reporting package.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and support annual budgets/forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and domestic/overseas subsidiaries.

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Group Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for group reporting and consolidation in compliance with SGX, SFRS(I) and ACRA requirements, while forming a strategic partnership with senior management. This role also supports due diligence and financial analysis for potential corporate exercises, including mergers and acquisitions and real estate development projects, as well as treasury management such as cash flow projections.

Job Objectives

• Group reporting & consolidationwith SGX, SFRS(I) & ACRA compliance
• Strategic partnership with senior management
• Support due diligence and analysis workstreams for potential corporate exercises as required
• Perform financial analysis and modelling to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and real estate development projects, including deal evaluation and post-acquisition financial integration
• Assist in treasury management, including preparing and monitoring cash flow projections

Responsibilities

• To do group consolidation & financial reporting in accordance with SFRS(I)
• To do detailed FS trend & variance analysis, & support performance tracking & decision making
• To perform financial analysis and modelling to support deal evaluation
• To maintain audit & tax schedules, JE, FS &group reporting package
• To do weekly cash flow forecast
• To do annual audited FS & XBRL filing
• To do quarterly P&L estimates & forecast and annual budget/forecastexercise
• To do FS & NTA for Group Annual Report
• Liaison with internal/external auditor, tax agent, local & overseassubsidiaries/associates reporting in-charge
• Toupdate/improve of consolidation/cashflow schedules/group reporting package templates
• To implement & maintain adequate controls & recommend process improvement
• To maintain accounting software (Chart of accounts & FS presentation, creating ID & update change of name/address of supplier, subcon & debtor) and liaise with consultant
• Adhoc assignments

What We're Looking For

• CA/ACCA/Degreein Accountancy &/or holder of professionalaccountancy qualifications
• 5to 8 years of relevant working experience in listed entities reporting team& audit experience, with prior exposure to IPO / listing exercises
• Strong track record in financial analysis; prior experience in the real estate industry is an advantage
• Familiarity and ability to apply accounting standards, taxes, GST, SGX ruling & Companies Co Act
• Proficiency in MS Office knowledge and must be strong in using the MS Excel application
• Sound understanding ofIPO/listing requirements and financial analysis techniques; familiarity with real estate development or investment holding structures is a plus
• Must possess excellent working and communication skills to interact effectively with business associates & professionals
• Willingness to work flexible schedules during peak periods, able to meet timelines and work in a high-pressure environment
