Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a strategic leader to strengthen data foundations for AI innovation across Singapore’s financial sector. You will develop data partnerships, governance frameworks and industry collaborations with banks, FinTechs, and tech providers to enable high-impact AI use cases.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business development within financial services, technology or public sector.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships and translate strategies into executable outcomes.
• Understanding of data infrastructure, data governance, data-sharing models and AI, with the ability to assess both technical and policy considerations.
• Experience developing strategies, frameworks or initiatives involving data, digital infrastructure or industry-wide collaboration.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders ranging from technical experts to C-suite executives.
• Strong writing skills, with experience preparing policy papers and presentations.
• Self-motivated individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to deliver meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Strategy formulation: Develop strategies for data partnerships, data infrastructure and industry data initiatives that support AI innovation in financial services
• Policy design and governance: Shape policies and regulatory framework for secure data sharing across financial institutions, and partner with data architects to align policy objectives with data governance and responsible use of AI
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with banks, insurers, FinTechs, and technology leaders to facilitate dialogue, gather insights, and drive collective action on data sharing and high‑impact AI use case
• Project management and Execution: Manage project timelines of high‑impact use cases, and evaluate effectiveness by measuring their impact on industry innovation and consumer benefit
