Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a senior strategy professional to strengthen AI capabilities across Singapore’s financial sector and to connect industry insights with MAS’s regulatory perspectives.

You will work across policy, supervision and industry development to enable responsible AI adoption at scale, partnering with banks, AI firms and public sector colleagues to drive outcomes in a fast-paced contract role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, policy, regulation or risk management within financial services or public sector
• Strong understanding of AI adoption opportunities and challenges in financial institutions
• Knowledge of regulatory, governance and compliance considerations for AI deployments
• Ability to translate industry insights into practical recommendations for policy and supervision
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with banks, tech providers and government agencies
• Proven ability to communicate complex strategy through papers, briefs and presentations

Responsibilities

• Shape strategies to strengthen AI capabilities and adoption across the financial sector
• Engage with financial institutions and industry stakeholders to develop initiatives
• Improve enabling environment for responsible AI adoption
