Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a technology strategy and architecture expert within the FIA to guide AI adoption across Singapore’s financial sector. You will assess emerging technologies, develop roadmaps, and collaborate with banks, AI firms, researchers and public-sector partners.

The role emphasizes interoperability, digital infrastructure, policy input and strategic advisory to national AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or related fields in financial services, tech, consulting or public sector.
• Strong understanding of AI, data and digital technologies and their implications for financial services.
• Ability to translate tech developments into industry strategies and practical recommendations.
• Experience developing roadmaps, target architectures, or large tech initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term technology strategy and architecture to enable AI innovation in Singapore's financial sector.
• Assess emerging AI, data and infrastructure technologies and their implications.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and reference architectures for future capabilities.
