Job summary

SAKUNTHALA'S KITCHEN in Singapore seeks a Restaurant Captain to lead the service team and ensure a smooth daily operation with outstanding guest service. You will oversee waitstaff, coordinate with the kitchen, and uphold hygiene standards while managing reservations and peak-hour pressures.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in restaurant service, strong communication and leadership skills, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays to deliver a memorable dining

Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: supervise and coordinate daily activities of service staff.
• Customer Service: ensure prompt, courteous and professional service.
• Restaurant Operations: oversee reservations, seating and service flow.
• Food & Beverage Service: ensure standards and portions meet expectations.
• Hygiene & Safety: maintain cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Stock & Cash Handling: monitor supplies and assist with payments when needed.
• Other Duties: assist restaurant manager and adapt to policies.
