Job summary

Restaurant Zén in Singapore is seeking a Service Captain to lead our world-class front-of-house team and deliver warm, knowledgeable hospitality that reflects our Michelin-starred standards.

You will guide junior staff on the floor, deepen product knowledge of the tasting menu and pairings, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure flawless execution and personal guest interactions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality.
• Michelin or equivalent background is a strong advantage.
• Clear communicator with the ability to lead by example and support junior team members in real time.
• Strong interest in food, wine, and hospitality with a willingness to learn the stories behind dishes and drinks.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to contribute to a seamless service flow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, refined, and consistent service throughout each stage of the guest journey.
• Support and guide junior front-of-house team members, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional standards.
• Be an ambassador for the Zén experience, with an in-depth understanding of the tasting menu, beverage pairings, and restaurant philosophy.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalize each interaction with care, timing, and professionalism.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure clear communication and flawless execution.
• Contribute actively to pre-service briefings, training sessions, and feedback loops that support team growth.
