Job summary

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Team Leader, Dining Reservations to supervise daily operations of the Dining Reservations team, ensuring prompt and professional guest communications.

You will train and coach team members, maintain guest profiles, and maximise dining opportunities by recommending experiences. The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality and at least 4 years in reservations or related hospitality, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality, Tourism, F&B.
• At least 4 years in dining reservations or related hospitality role.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.
• Proficient in reservation systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Dining Reservations team and ensure all guest enquiries and dining reservations are handled promptly and professionally.
• Handle restaurant reservations, amendments, cancellations and special requests accurately and efficiently.
• Guide, coach and support team members to consistently deliver warm and personalised guest service.
• Ensure accurate recording of guest information, dining preferences, dietary requirements, special occasions and other relevant details.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's restaurants and bars, operating hours, menus, promotions and dining experiences.
• Maximise dining opportunities by recommending suitable restaurants, promotions and experiences based on guests' preferences and requirements.
• Monitor reservation availability and table allocation to support optimal restaurant capacity and smooth operations.
• Handle escalated guest enquiries, feedback and concerns professionally, ensuring timely follow-up and appropriate service recovery.
• Work closely with restaurant teams, Culinary, Events and other departments to ensure special arrangements and guest requests are communicated effectively.
• Support the Dining Reservations Manager in training, daily team administration and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
