Job summary

Huawei International Pte. Ltd.

is seeking a skilled engineer to conduct sales presentations and trainings on Solar PV & ESS solutions, review designs, and configure PV/ESS systems to meet client requirements in Singapore. You will build strong customer relationships, handle project pipelines, and address technical issues while analyzing market opportunities and defining product requirements through research.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, preferably Electrical or Solar PV or ESS related.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics (inverter/drive/PCS) for PV & ESS systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and intercultural skills.
• Strong organization, planning and analytical abilities; good presentation skills.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in solar PV & ESS projects; EPC or inverter/ESS manufacturer internship preferred.
• Mandarin proficiency to liaise with counterparts in China.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales presentations and product trainings on Huawei Solar PV & ESS solutions.
• Review initial designs and optimize for PV & ESS projects.
• Design and configure PV & ESS systems; prepare BOMs, costings, yield projections and revenue estimates.
• Establish and maintain close customer relationships and track project pipelines.
• Support and resolve technical issues faced by customers related to PV & ESS.
• Analyze market opportunities for the Solar PV & ESS ecosystem and support pricing/product definition.
• Define customer needs and translate into product requirements from market research.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To conduct sales presentations and product trainings to introduce and update solar PV & ESS products features to customers and distributors about Huawei smart PV & ESS solutions
• To review initial designs and provide feedback on optimization for solar PV & ESS projects
• To conduct design and configuration of PV & ESS systems based on client's requirements; to prepare calculations on costings, bill of materials, yield projections and revenue
• To establish and build close customer relationship and to understand and track project pipelines;
• To support and resolve solar PV & ESS related technical issues faced by customers
• Analyze the situation and development opportunities of the Solar PV & ESS eco-system and conduct market research in support pricing and product definition
• Define customer needs and construct product requirements in accordance with your market research

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably from Electrical or Solar PV or ESS related major;
• Good electrical, as well as technical knowledge of power electronics (such as inverter, drive or PCS), especially for Solar PV and ESS system
• Good communication skills of cross-functions and intercultural organization
• Good organization, planning, analytical and presentation skills
• Strong self-initiative and ability to independently, as well as in a team
• Result driven and commitment to deliver quality
• Preferred candidate who have solar & ESS project experience, have internship experience in EPC or inverter/ESS manufacturer company.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with counterparts in China
