We are partnering with a leading technology solutions provider to hire a DevSecOps Engineer for a long-term government project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital initiatives in Singapore’s public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Testers, Solution Architects) to deliver secure and scalable technical solutions.
- Drive hands-on coding and scripting, as well as participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Support and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and cloud optimisation.
- Maintain and monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure security and compliance.
- Oversee QA and testing activities, including user acceptance testing, to ensure quality delivery.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, promoting coding best practices.
- Provide technical support across application, infrastructure, and security layers to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant roles, with hands-on exposure to at least 3 Agile/full SDLC projects.
- Strong experience in cloud solutioning with AWS Cloud (Government Commercial Cloud experience is a plus).
- Solid DevOps background, with hands-on experience in CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube).
- Infrastructure-as-Code expertise with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Proficiency in programming (Python, React, Node.js, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience building scripts and API integrations, with knowledge of JWT, JWKS, Cognito, and Authorisers.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerisation (Docker), relational databases, web and mobile IT projects.
- Strong problem-solving, coding, testing, and debugging skills.
- Experience working in government, enterprise IT environments, or regulated industries is advantageous.
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLM) such as OpenAI, Amazon Q, Gemini is a plus.
