Job summary

INTERSOFTKK (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Band 1 Desktop Technician to provide day-to-day desktop support and resolve hardware, software, and application issues. You will handle inbound calls, document steps in the ticketing system, and work with supervisors to ensure consistency across shifts.

The role requires 1–2 years of Windows desktop support experience, basic Mac OS knowledge, and the ability to work off-hours or weekends for projects or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• CompTIA A+ or MCP certification required or better.
• 18 months’ IT experience minimum.
• Experience with Windows 7–10, Active Directory, MS Office 365, PC hardware, antivirus, helpdesk tickets.
• Mobile management of iOS/Android, encryption, AD-based PC management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet SLAs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to work off-hours/weekends for projects or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues.
• Communicate issue status and resolutions promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date ticket records for reported incidents.
• Install/upgrade/support Windows OSes and Microsoft Office suites; configure printers and hardware.
• Support Mac OS for Apple users at basic level.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
• Work in a project-based environment with flexibility and teamwork.
• Mentor Band 0 technicians and assist Band 2 technicians on tickets.
