Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites applications for a Deputy / Assistant Manager, Rail Licensing to support grants administration and auditing for Singapore's RTS network. You will assess PTO grant claims and help improve governance and operational processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in grant administration or auditing is advantageous.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization is advantageous.
• Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• No prior work experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Verifying grant claims submitted by the Public Transport Operators (PTOs).
• Conducting assessments to independently validate the accuracy of PTOs' submissions.
• Investigating the causes of rail service delays using data from rail systems.
• Conducting audits of PTOs' documented and certified processes for the collection of performance data, as well as reviewing control mechanisms at critical points to strengthen grant governance.
• Reviewing and enhancing internal processes, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency in grant administration; and
• Preparing and providing periodic updates to LTA senior management on grant-related matters.
