Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Develop daily delivery plan for Downstream fabricated products and Rebar to meet daily delivery requirement.
2. Communicates with stakeholders on customer specific delivery requirements and incorporate them into delivery plan and determines the loading sequence of items for each load.
3. Determines types of vehicles to be used for each delivery based on site requirement and contents of customer order.
4. Maximize weight per load to minimize trips to save logistics cost while ensuring safety in loading, unloading and transportation process.
5. Monitor delivery performance and adopt technology and productivity tools to continuously improve delivery planning process.

REQUIREMENTS

• ITE/Diploma or equivalent in any discipline
• No experience is required
• Candidate with more years of experience in production planning or delivery planning preferably in a manufacturing environment in construction industry will be considered for senior position.
• Good knowledge in supply chain management and planning software
