Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a high-impact hybrid role blending proactive business development with deep pre-sales engineering for its Military and Defense portfolio. You will translate defense needs into unified technical propositions, lead whiteboarding sessions, and guide solution design from discovery to procurement.

The ideal candidate has domain knowledge in C4ISR, tactical wireless networks, and field deployment, with strong communication to both operators and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in defense domain and C4ISR systems.
• Ability to lead technical pre-sales and bid responses.
• Strong understanding of networked defense architectures.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify operational friction points and generate net-new demand from military end-users.
• Lead technical whiteboarding sessions and scope requirements across MSI's product landscape.
• Draft and review high-quality technical responses, architecture diagrams, and system designs for RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
• Coordinate with internal operations, engineering, and Sales to ensure smooth handovers for contract closure.
• Demonstrate and validate solutions through field trials and operational demonstrations with end-users.
