Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical direction
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical models to support aerospace operations
• Partner with engineering, operations, MRO, and business stakeholders to identify challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Drive analytics initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and decision-making
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Review data quality, governance practices, and analytics methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Stay updated on data science trends, tools, and best practices, and apply relevant techniques to ongoing projects
• Support multiple analytics projects concurrently while ensuring timely delivery and impact

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related disciplines is preferred
• Proven experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory data science role, with the ability to manage and guide a small team
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks
• Solid experience in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data-driven problem solving
• Able to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to business and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
• Exposure to aerospace systems, engineering systems, or MRO platforms is an added advantage
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) is advantageous
• Strong leadership presence, good communication skills, and suitable personality to take on a team lead role
