Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Data Scientist within the AI & Data Analytics (AIDA) unit to drive insights and AI/ML model development that respond to market changes. You will partner with stakeholders to co-create data-driven solutions for personalization and scale of telco offerings.

You will lead modelling efforts, ensure governance, and mentor peers while communicating complex findings clearly to leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics.
• Strong ML/stat modelling, time series, segmentation, causal inference.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive, and Databricks.
• Experience with ML lifecycle tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science initiatives aligning with Singtel's strategic goals.
• Develop, deploy, and monitor predictive models in production.
• Analyze customer behavior across services to drive targeting.
• Perform robust experimentation and A/B testing for campaigns.
• Mentor junior data scientists and review code quality.
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
