Job summary

Singtel is building an AI-first telco and seeks a Lead Data Scientist to shape analytics and AI/ML capabilities across the organization. You will lead a team of data scientists, architect end-to-end AI solutions, and translate data into measurable business value across customer journeys and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in CS, math, statistics or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in ML, statistical modelling, time series, segmentation, causal inference.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive, Databricks; strong data visualization skills.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, model evaluation, prompt engineering and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale large-scale AI/ML programs delivering measurable business impact.
• Define technical direction for model design, development and productionization.
• Leverage customer behavior data for segmentation and value-based engagement.
• Plan and run robust A/B tests, segmentation and optimization strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to the data science team; align with stakeholders.
