Job summary

NEWTECH TECHNOLOGY (SOUTH ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking personnel to provide 24x7 operational health, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation support for data centre facilities. You will supervise term contractors, ensure compliance with site rules, and keep customer premises clean and operational before handover.

The role requires adherence to HSE standards, proactive recommendations for improvements, strong client relations, and coordination of maintenance schedules with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Undertake 24x7 operational health/ maintenance/ troubleshooting/ installation/ repairs according to Data Centre ‘best practice’
• Supervision and escort of term contractors to ensure that installation/ maintenance repairs adhere to their due diligence
• Ensure that customer’s premises is tidy up and all equipments are operational before leaving the client’s premises
• Follows and adhere to customer’s facilities’ rules and regulations
• Observe operational health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements
• Propose and recommend customer’s Data Centre improvement/ replacement of aged equipments
• Maintain good relations with customers by providing technical/ facilities support
• Involve in promoting team cohesiveness
• Preparing & updating of Maintenance schedule to the customer and vendors
• Promote and maintain company professional image in Data Centre maintenance & management.
• Ensure the term vendor is on time for Maintenance.
• To assist in vetting Vendor PTW, MOS & RA and submit to safety department and client for approval.
• Prepare Monthly duty rooster for in house shift technician.
