Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs within a Data Center operation in Singapore. You will inspect Mechanical & Engineering systems, monitor environmental conditions, and respond to BMS alarms while coordinating with vendors and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a technical apprenticeship or equivalent, with flexibility for shift work, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Training in a Technical discipline with apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication to present information clearly.
• MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook basics.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math to calculate simple figures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on data center systems.
• Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and complete emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
• Complete planned preventive and reactive maintenance with proper documentation.
