Job summary

newtech technology (south asia) pte ltd is seeking an experienced facilities management professional to support the Senior Manager in running the FM team and managing client accounts. The role involves vendor coordination, budgeting, outsourcing, tendering, and contract awards to ensure high service levels.

You will coach the facilities team, drive emergency response and business continuity improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities within a facilities management context.
• Ability to supervise and mentor teams and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in managing customer accounts and the day-to-day operations of the FM team.
• Assist the Senior Manager and be involved in FM team management, vendor management, budget planning, outsourcing, tendering, and awarding of contracts.
• Support the Senior Manager in coaching and mentoring the facilities team, as well as implementing and continuously improving the team's emergency response and business continuity programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and local authorities' requirements.
• Train FM team employees and administer policies, procedures, and standards to ensure our employees and vendors possess the required technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and morale to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Manage existing client data center enhancement and modification projects.
