Job summary

Turner & Townsend Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction for a data centre build. The role emphasizes site logistics, safety, sequencing, and ensuring the general contractor maintains the critical path within tight industrial zones.

You will coordinate trades, manage deep foundation work, perform QA/QC, and liaise with RIs and QPs to pass inspections, while upholding MOM safety standards and driving defect resolution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of site construction management experience, with data centre or high-tech facilities in Singapore.
• Deep knowledge of deep-piling, precast and cast-in-situ concrete structures.
• PM software proficiency: Procore for logs/inspections; ACC to view 3D models; Smartsheet for schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily on-site construction logistics in tight industrial zones (e.g., Tuas, Jurong).
• Supervise deep foundation work, ERSS, mass concrete pours, and precast components.
• Lead trade coordination meetings and manage handovers between civil and MEP teams; ensure clear utility paths.
• Enforce MOM safety regulations; oversee high-risk tasks such as heavy lifting and working at heights.
• Conduct site walks for QA/QC against shop drawings; drive NCR closure and corrective actions.
• Coordinate on-site inspections with Registered Inspectors (RIs) and Qualified Persons (QPs).
