Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide operational, administrative, and technical support to the Data Centre PMC team in Singapore. The role emphasizes document control, tracking deliverables, and assisting with site inspections to understand data centre delivery nuances.

You will handle CDE administration, project log maintenance, meeting support, and closeout documentation, working closely with Construction and Project Managers in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in building construction or project coordination.
• Foundational ability to read architectural blueprints, structural designs, and single-line diagrams for electrical layouts.
• Basic understanding of construction workflows, from initial excavation and structural work up to final fit-out and testing.
• Proficiency with PM software: Smartsheet, Procore, ACC; ability to set up logs and tracking lists.
• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Common Data Environment (CDE) Administration: Manage document control for the project and keep drawings, specs, approvals, and records up to date in the CDE.
• Update project logs daily; track RFIs, technical submittals, variation orders, and action items.
• Attend project meetings; take minutes and track actions to ensure completion.
• Support site inspections with Construction Managers and Project Managers; capture progress photos and log safety concerns.
• Gather and organize handover documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings for final TOP submission.
