Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead for pre-construction activities on data centre development projects in Singapore. You will drive planning, cost management, procurement support, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination to ensure readiness for construction in line with technical, commercial, and operational requirements.

The role requires 5–8 years in project/construction roles, with exposure to data centre or mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
5-8 years of project, engineering, construction, or infrastructure experience.
Exposure to data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale building projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction activities from project initiation to construction start.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on planning and design development.
Review architectural, civil, structural, and MEP designs for data centre standards and project requirements.
Support budgeting, cost estimation, value engineering, and procurement planning.
Drive tendering processes, vendor evaluations, and contract award recommendations.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Track project schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
Facilitate design reviews and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
