Job summary

Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Analytics team for Transaction Banking in the Asia Pacific region. You will analyze data, build reports and dashboards, and deliver insights that support business strategies and KPI tracking.

You will work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, perform data profiling, and automate recurring processes to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one database management system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, including Power Query, formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and charting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Analytics team for Transaction Banking in Asia Pacific by analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, and delivering insights that support business strategies and KPI tracking.
• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support monthly and ad hoc reports on key metrics.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to provide insights into performance and opportunities.
• Create clear visualizations for stakeholders across country, product, and sub-product levels.
• Assist in automating recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with DBM, Planning, Tokyo, and other teams to enhance GTMP dashboard content.
