Job summary

Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch is seeking an experienced Data Platform and Enterprise Architecture Leader to define and drive the APAC data platform strategy. You will architect scalable, secure data platforms and ensure alignment with global priorities and local market requirements.

You will modernize legacy systems, integrate diverse data sources for analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI, and promote best practices, open systems, and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years delivering in strong engineering teams with data/tech initiatives.
• Strong background in enterprise/data/solution architecture and modernization programs (cloud adoption).
• Excellent stakeholder management across APAC and with global teams.
• Solid foundation in software engineering practices and DevOps automation; CI/CD with security testing.
• Familiarity with security principles (encryption, secure coding).

Responsibilities

• Data Platform & Enterprise Architecture Leadership.
• Define and execute APAC data platform architecture strategy.
• Architect scalable, secure data platforms for analytics, AI/ML, GenAI.
• Integrate legacy systems and disparate data sources into unified data ecosystems.
• Promote open systems, standard architectures, and governance.
• Lead delivery oversight and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage budgets/forecasts and oversee external vendors/data providers.
• Chair architecture forums and provide strategic oversight for major programs.
