Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Singapore to collaborate with business and technical teams, map data flows and support Power BI dashboard development. You will identify automation opportunities, document BRDs and FSDs, and drive data-driven improvements across reporting processes.

The role emphasizes data governance, SQL proficiency, and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable data insights and robust reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in data-driven projects.
• Experience documenting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Strong information gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability in process improvement and business process re-engineering.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
• Experience with source systems, data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL or other data querying tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Analyse current manual reporting processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Map data flows from source systems to reporting outputs ensuring data integrity.
• Define data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) requirements with data engineers and developers.
• Support design and implementation of Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
• Review and recommend process enhancements to enable automation.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit information and clarify requirements.
• Support UAT and successful deployment of reporting solutions.
• Maintain documentation of business processes, data mappings and reporting logic.
