Job summary

Bank of Singapore seeks a senior Power BI Developer to govern and optimize its enterprise Power BI platform. You will manage Power BI Service on Microsoft Fabric, supervise data models, dashboards, and dataflows, and own governance, security and operational controls in a regulated banking setting.

The role requires hands-on SQL, Python scripting, and deployment automation, with collaboration across data engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience governing and deploying Power BI at scale is preferred.
• Strong skills in SQL, data modeling and data security in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Govern and maintain the enterprise Power BI platform, including service, capacity, workspaces, gateways, and access controls.
• Lead development practices and ensure reports, dataflows and dashboards follow governance standards.
• Write and optimize SQL scripts for data sourced from Starburst, AWS and on-premises sources.
• Coordinate controlled report deployment with Python automation and Jenkins workflows.
• Monitor platform reliability, refresh performance and user experience across reports.
• Support data platform changes and migrations impacting Power BI reporting.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, security and governance teams to deliver secure analytics.
