Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive data-driven reporting solutions in Singapore. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and map data flows while defining ETL needs with data engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven projects.
• Experience with BRDs and FSDs and formal documentation.
• Excellent information gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability in process improvement and business process re-engineering.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
• Experience with source systems, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL or similar data querying tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Analyse existing manual reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Map data flows from source systems to reporting outputs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Work with data engineers and developers to define data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of Power BI dashboards and visualisations to meet business needs.
• Review and recommend process enhancements to enable automation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit information and clarify requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment of reporting solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation of business processes, data mappings, and reporting logic.
