Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Internal Firm Services team. You will model data in the core SQL database, maintain the data dictionary, and monitor data connections across source systems.

The role involves developing BI dashboards with PowerBI and performing ETL using Python, SQL or R to support data-driven decision making. This position emphasises collaboration with Business and IT teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and timely delivery of analytics that guide

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience with SQL and Python.
Experience with data modelling and data dictionary management.
Experience with ETL tools such as Python, SQL or R.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI.

Responsibilities

Model and maintain objects in the organisation’s core SQL database to support reliable reporting and analytics.
Maintain the data dictionary.
Document, monitor, and troubleshoot data connections between source systems and the core SQL database.
Develop and maintain exception reports to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues in the database and source systems.
Automate information retrieval from external sources to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
Develop business intelligence dashboards using PowerBI.
Perform ETL using Python or SQL.
