Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Food Product Developer to join our R&D team. You will conduct product development activities in laboratory and pilot plant settings, focusing on dairy and beverage applications, develop formulations, and support testing and documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to move projects from concept to commercialization, maintain records, and provide technical support to marketing, sales and operations.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Min 2–3 years of relevant experience in food product development, food applications or food manufacturing.
• Experience in dairy, beverage or food ingredient applications will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food ingredients, formulation and food processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product development in lab and pilot plant environments for dairy and beverage applications.
• Develop and test product formulations and prototypes for customer and innovation projects.
• Support ingredient evaluation, application testing, process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results and project activities.
• Prepare technical reports and application documentation.
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Technical Service, Sales and Operations teams.
• Support customer projects through product formulation and prototype development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support projects from concept development through commercialization.
• Manage laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment and samples, ensuring proper storage and tracking.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
