Job summary

Recruit Express PTE LTD is hiring for a Food Product Development role deployed to a West Location. You will conduct development activities in lab and pilot plant settings, focusing on dairy and beverage applications and supporting formulation, testing and prototype development.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Food Science or related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical, organisational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in food product development, applications or food manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of ingredient functionality and food processing principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product development activities in laboratory and pilot plant environments, focusing on dairy and beverage applications.
• Support formulation development, process optimisation, troubleshooting and application testing.
• Develop and evaluate product prototypes to support customer projects.
• Conduct experiments and document results and project activities.
• Prepare technical reports and application-related documentation.
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, Technical Service and Operations teams.
• Assist with technical presentations, seminars and training activities.
• Support troubleshooting of formulation and processing challenges.
• Maintain laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment and samples.
• Manage and maintain the ingredient library with proper labelling, storage and tracking.
• Perform basic maintenance of laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment.
• Follow all workplace safety, health and sustainability requirements.
