About the role

Gic Thomson Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our hospitality team in the Upper Thomson Central Region. This is a full‑time position where you will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional service to our guests across all hospitality touchpoints. You will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
• Taking orders and serving food and beverages with efficiency and attention to detail
• Managing customer inquiries and addressing concerns promptly and courteously
• Maintaining a clean and organised service area, including tables, seating arrangements and dining spaces
• Processing payments and handling transactions accurately and securely
• Communicating effectively with kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service delivery
• Recommending menu items and beverages based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Assisting with special requests and accommodating guests with diverse needs
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, pricing and house policies
• Contributing to a team environment that prioritises guest satisfaction and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in customer service, waiting staff roles or hospitality environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional demeanour and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and transactions
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
• Food hygiene certification or willingness to obtain one is desirable
