Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable logistics professional to manage ocean import shipments, coordinate with carriers and customers, and prepare all necessary shipping documents. You will monitor shipments, resolve issues, and uphold compliance with company procedures while supporting daily operations.

The role requires a diploma or degree in logistics or SCM with 2–3 years in freight forwarding or ocean import ops, plus strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, SCM or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in freight forwarding or ocean import operations.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
• CargoWise experience is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle ocean import shipments, customer enquiries, and bookings.
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, vendors, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare shipping documents, customs permits, invoices, and pre-alerts.
• Monitor shipment status and update records in CargoWise.
• Resolve shipment issues and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and support daily operations.

Salary: $3000 - $3500 + $30 Phone allowance

Working Hour: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Location: Changi North (Company Transport provided at Tampines MRT)
